He came with his wife, with different interests and a different rhythm. What followed wasn’t James’s Lake Como repeated. It was something entirely their own.

For Chris and his wife, it was less about grand itineraries and more about food, local life, and a little romance.
A morning spent tasting their way through Como. An evening crossing the lake for dinner as daylight disappeared.

Personally, Lake Como was created with places that carry their own history, character and relationship with the lake.
A private estate whose history reaches back to 1435, with the noble residence dating to the 17th century. Set on the Cernobbio promontory and fully visible only from the water, Villa Pizzo is surrounded by historic gardens stretching along the lakeshore.
A historic residence in the hills of Tremezzina, where frescoed rooms, a wisteria-covered pergola and Mediterranean gardens look out towards the lake and surrounding olive groves.
